Michael Master was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 24, 1938. He graduated from Temple University (B.S. 1960; LL.B, 1964) and was admitted to the bar of Pennsylvania in 1965. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was Member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association from 1990-1993.

He was also a Member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 1994-1997 and has served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. He is presently a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. Michael was also a Captain, U.S. Army Infantry, 1960-1967.
